Construction to Commence on CWP Renewables 260MW Sapphire Wind Farm


The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Government has awarded developer CWP Renewables’ Sapphire Wind Farm a feed-in tariff of A$89.10 per MW/h for 100MW of capacity to power nearly 50,000 homes, giving the go ahead for construction. South Africa: First Turbine in the Ground at Dorper


The first turbine has been successfully erected at Dorper Wind Farm.

The team are delivering the remaining 39 turbines to site and all 40 turbines are expected to be erected by March 2014.

Wind Prospect is acting as Owner’s Engineer on the project, on behalf of Rainmaker Energy and Sumimoto Corporation.
