The blades for the Kinegar Quarry project arrived on site earlier this week as the Wind Prospect team work towards the 1st power generation taking place in March.

Construction to Commence on CWP Renewables 260MW Sapphire Wind Farm


The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Government has awarded developer CWP Renewables’ Sapphire Wind Farm a feed-in tariff of A$89.10 per MW/h for 100MW of capacity to power nearly 50,000 homes, giving the go ahead for construction. Stage One of the Boco Rock Wind Farm will comprise 67 GE wind turbines (GE 1.6MW and 1.7MW) and will have an installed capacity of 113MW.
