YANDIN WIND FARM – Alinta Energy to build West Australia’s biggest wind farm
Alinta Energy will commence construction of West Australia’s biggest wind farm, the 214 MW Stage 1 Yandin Wind Farm, appointing leading global wind company Vestas as its engineering, procurement and construction partner.
WADDI WIND FARM – Planning approval amended
The Dandaragan Shire consents to the extension of the maximum wind turbine tip height from 165 metres to 180 metres.

BULGANA WIND FARM – MoU signed with Victorian Government
The Bulgana Wind Farm has been re-named Bulgana Green Power Hub (BGPH) and will form part of an integrated wind and battery storage solution. BGPH will provide power to a new 30 hectare high tech glass house facility developed by Nectar farms, which together will contribute more than 600 jobs to the Stawell region.

Alinta Energy acquires Wind Prospect’s Yandin Wind Farm in Western Australia.

WADDI WIND FARM – Planning approval issued
On behalf of Trustpower (now Tilt Renewables), Wind Prospect achieves planning approval for an 80 MW PV solar farm across approximately 150 hectares. The project will include a number of arrays consisting of either static or single axis tracking photovoltaic panels.

WADDI WIND FARM – Planning approval amended
On behalf of Trustpower (now Tilt Renewables), Wind Prospect achieves an amendment to the planning approval that provides for an alternate route for a transmission line to connect to the network.

WADDI WIND FARM – Trustpower (now Tilt Renewables) purchases Waddi Wind Farm
Tilt Renewables (then Trustpower) purchased the Waddi Wind Farm project from Wind Prospect. The Waddi Wind Farm will be spread across 10,400 hectares and will consist of up to 57 turbines with and installed capacity of up to 145 MW.
