The Gedney Marsh Wind Farm (Red House) was a development by Wind Prospect Developments and comprises of six turbines located on land at Red House Farm at Gedney Marsh, Lincolnshire.
Construction of the wind farm commenced in May 2005 under a Turnkey Contract between Repower UK, and Siif Energies, part of the EDF group. Repower UK and their sub contractors continue to construct the wind farm. The six turbine bases were complete with the erection of the towers at the end of February 2006.
Construction was completed during the spring of 2006. Repower used the MM82, the same turbine installed at Long Hill Road, March with an overall tip height of 100m.
