This 18 turbine site near Campbelltown in Kintyre was the first site to be supplied by the new Vestas plant at Macrihanish, Scotland.

Vestas were the turnkey contractor for this Scottish and Southern Energy project, with Wind Prospect acting as principal contractor and planning supervisor, as well as providing site supervision.

The V52-850 kW turbines were assembled at the nearby Vestas plant at Macrihanish, currently the only turbine manufacturing facility in the UK.

The site was commissioned in late 2002.
