Wind Prospect has submitted a planning application to erect eight wind turbines at Glass Moor, Cambridgeshire. The proposed windcluster is approximately 2.75km east of Pondersbridge and 2.5km north of Ramsey Mereside.

The development will provide enough green energy for the equivalent of approximately 8,400 local homes and save approximately 37,000 tonnes of harmful CO2 being emitted into the atmosphere every year.

Each turbine would have a tower height of 67 m and a blade diameter of 66 m, resulting in a maximum tip height of no more than 100 m.

If you would like to know more about the proposal, download the Non-Technical Summary from the Environmental Statement.
