November 2004 approval from the Regional Council of Goyder has meant that the 26 turbine development of Willogoleche Hill can now go ahead.

Situated approximately 5km from the town of Hallett and on predominantly grazing land, the turbines will contribute to supplying 192 000 homes in the area with their average domestic electricity needs.

As part of the overall Hallett Wind Farm development, the wind farm will also contribute to a total significant reduction of carbon dioxide emissions of over one million tonnes per year.
