Provisional Development Plan Consent in November 2004 for The Bluff Range means that 25 turbines will be constructed along its uniquely defined ridge - perfect positioning for a wind farm.

The turbines will generate a potential 50MW of clean electricity, which as part of the overall Hallett Wind Farm development, will contribute to a reduction of approximately 1,121,280 tonnes per year of harmful carbon dioxide emissions.
