Turbine procurement is one of the most important aspect of wind energy development. Turbines may represent up to 80% of the capital cost of a windfarm and their reliability and long term power output are crucial to the financial performance of the project.

It is important to secure not only an acceptable price, but also the right guarantees, delivery and performance bonds and specific guarantees on
aspects of performance governed by planning conditions, such as noise. All such aspects need to be closely tied in with the requirements of
financing institutions.

Project Management and Turnkey Projects
Wind Prospect undertakes full project management or provides a turnkey arrangement, as circumstances require. We have a substantial track
record, with management of 13 sites from Australia, Ireland, mainland Britain and the Shetland Islands.

Management includes all aspects of a project, including procurement, contract letting, contract and site management. Full or partial turnkey packages can be put together rapidly and cost effectively, using national or local contractors.

Environmental Management
Wind Prospect Australia has internal expertise in Environmental Management, ensuring environmental interests during the construction phase are correctly managed through their Construction Environmental Management Programme, and Construction Environmental Management Plans.
