The Company

Wind Prospect Group undertakes all aspects of wind energy development, including design, construction and operation as well as due diligence and validation work.

We remain independent of all turbine manufacturers to ensure that we can achieve our aim of maximising the cost-effectiveness of every project we undertake. We have been involved in nearly 280MW of completed sites and currently have around 1000MW in various stages of the development process, both onshore and offshore.

In late 2000, after two years of market investigations, Wind Prospect set up an Australian joint venture company with Danish and US developers EnXco and Zilkha Renewables. In mid 2003, the joint venture evolved to consist of SIIF Energies (the renewable energy arm of French Utility EdF), Wind Prospect Ltd (UK) as well as Australian interests.

In October 2003 Wind Prospect UK purchased the SIIF share, and are now an 80% shareholder in Wind Prospect Australia. Together the partners have brought a unique mix of experience and expertise to the Australian market.

Wind Prospect Pty Ltd in turn has formed partnerships with a number of energy developers for selected wind farm sites in South Australia.
