Carbon Neutral

Wind Prospect Pty Ltd has recently become a carbon neutral company.

By measuring the net greenhouse gas emissions associated with our electricity use, flights, vehicular travel, waste and paper use, we have been able to offset these emissions through the purchase of:

• Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) from the Challicum Hills wind farm in Victoria
• Gold Standard carbon credits from the Te Apiti wind farm on the North island of New Zealand

More importantly, we have quantified our greenhouse gas emissions so that we can aim to reduce them in 2007 and beyond.

We believe that all companies and individuals need to become aware of their emissions, then need to reduce and offset their emissions. Global warming affects us all, and we all need to be part of the solution.
