Biography:

I joined Wind Prospect Operations UK Ltd in February 2013 as Office Administrator within the Bramhall office. I previously spent thirteen years working for MITIE Engineering Services in Stockport, a Building Services Mechanical & Electrical contractor. I’m hoping that my experience of working in the Construction sector assists in the setting up of the administrative processes and systems in the new Bramhall office.

I have already had my first site visit (Tir Mostyn) and gained an insight into what a Wind Turbine looks like close up!

Outside work I enjoy spending time with my partner and family, especially sunny days out, I am also interested in visiting historic sites. I enjoy the theatre, all types of music and of course my holidays at home and abroad!

Biography:

So, I have just joined the Advisory Services team as a senior project manager after a cheeky month off and am really looking forward to ‘getting involved’ at Wind Prospect. I have spent the last few years working at Garrad Hassan in their Independent Engineering team with a focus on lender’s due diligence work. My initiation into the wind industry was at RES Group, a UK developer, working on tendering and negotiating turbine supply agreements and ensuring that these were executed properly throughout the construction phase. I started my working life at Unilever on their supply chain graduate programme but after moving about all over the place and getting my engineering chartership I decided that I need to do something more meaningful than mass producing stuff to fill supermarket shelves.

Outside of work, on a sporty front, I enjoy mountain biking, climbing, walking, the occasional game of squash and going to the gym. I am also teaching myself to play the guitar and am interested in gardening, green woodworking and bushcraft skills. I hope to meet you all soon (although I am rubbish at remembering names) and become one of the extended WP family.

Biography:

I have joined Wind Prospect to take up the post of Graduate Environmental Officer in the Environmental Team. I completed my degree in Environmental Science at the University of York in 2011, and took a year out to go travelling around India, Nepal and south east Asia before returning home to Cumbria severely underweight and with barely a penny to my name. Since then I have been working in an independent outdoor shop in Carlisle selling skiing and climbing equipment but wanted to get a job more relevant to my degree, which is where Wind Prospect comes in. Outside of work I enjoy just about any outdoor sport and am a keen walker, climber, mountain biker and skier. I love living so close to the Lake District and try to make the most of it whenever I can.

Biography:

I joined Wind Prospect in January 2013 to work in the Cape Town office on Due Diligence projects. I’m Welsh/Australian (I get teased a lot!) and grew up in Melbourne, my first job taking me to Tasmania to work on hydropower stations as a civil engineer as well as development of wind farms on the Australian mainland. In 2006 I moved to the UK and lived in Brighton for about 7 years working in various consultancies (inc. Motts, PMSS and OST Energy) doing due diligence for predominately onshore and offshore wind farms as well as a small amount of solar and hydro.

In my free time I like to travel, bush walk, and try and stay healthy with a bit of yoga, kayaking, swimming, or more adventurous things like caving and climbing as opportunity permits. I’m also very happy just lying on the beach with a glass of bubbles.”
